Awareness came in stages. First, Ivo noticed the warm skin beneath his cheek, and then the hand wrapped proprietorially around his hip. He had no memory of falling asleep. Part of him regretted that he hadn't stayed awake the entire night, enjoying Davi's company.
Now it was morning and he would have to put on that awful uniform again and be ordered around by the D'Amicos.
"Wake up." He whispered the words into Davi's skin. Regretful that he had to get up at all. "It's morning already."
Davi shifted under him, yawning slowly, his fingers tightened momentarily on Ivo's hip before he let go of him and sat up among the mussed sheets. He blinked towards the balcony doors and the dull light of day pouring into the room.
"I shouldn't have slept so late." He pushed the comforter off of him and bound out of bed.
Ivo: you're an annoying, entitled brat, and I hate you
Letícia: uhm, interesting, a potential ally...
