"Is this for me?"
Rosie told the man to sit down first then nodded. She really felt happy seeing Aslan showing a wide smile that the man rarely showed. She rested her face on her palms as she watched Aslan open the present she had prepared.
A thick, dark green knit scarf was a gift Rosie had prepared. Aslan lifted it and touched the surface of the scarf. It was so warm and soft. The color reminded Aslan of his wife's deep, beautiful eyes.
"I'm afraid you're cold out there. At least I want you to use it when winter comes. There is more at the bottom."
Aslan put on the scarf for a moment and under the scarf was a pair of knit gloves of the same color. He touched it carefully. Aslan didn't know what to say. He never saw Rosie knitting. He didn't even know that his wife could knit.
"You made it yourself?" asked Aslan.
