Rosie quickly looked up to see the sky was still dark, but far on the eastern horizon, there was a purple hue indicating that the sun was about to rise. Did this mean her wish was not granted?
Aslan stood up and Rosie suddenly frowned when she saw the man's white shirt looked very dirty. His hands, neck, and face were full of blood…
"Aslan? Are you hurt?" Rosie asked in panic then examined the man's body.
She wiped the trace of blood on Aslan's neck and face to make sure that her husband wasn't hurt. Then, her hand held Aslan's hand, which was covered in blood. She shifted her gaze up and looked at Aslan's cold face.
"Who did you kill?" Rosie asked, releasing her hand from the man's.
"Five knights who will take you to Duke Coby's residence, and my executor if I take you away," Aslan replied calmly. He completely didn't feel burdened by the five lives of people who had just disappeared in his hands.
