Aslan squinted his eyes, observing the old man and Rosie alternately. Since when did they become close to casually talking like that? Did the doctor not know who Rosie was and what her position was? 

Aslan tried to ignore the interaction between them two. He was a patient, and the doctor should have asked him about everything related to his hands directly. However, the doctor chose to ask Rosie instead.

"Did Lord Aslan feel any pain in his hand?"

"I think no. Duke Aslan rested all day since yesterday, and he looked fine at night. But this morning he looked like a mess again," said Rosie.

Aslan closed his eyes. Of course, he looked like a mess this morning because he had only caught a wink of sleep. He spent the night trying to forget their kiss by reading Rosie's porn book.
