"Looks like you all like your soon to be teacher."
All of them turned to look at the elegant lady who was standing not very far from them with bodyguards behind her. Her long blonde hair flowed down her back, complimenting her beautiful looks. Seo-yeon could recognize the person anywhere. She then started wondering why she had to run into those she had known before marrying Do-yun that day.
"And isn't it the same Seo-yeon of our days back in college." The lady smirked with her gaze travelling from Seo-yeon's face down to her feet and back up to her face.
"It's really nice to see you too Jang-mi." Seo-yeon smiled as friendly as she could. "It's been a long time."
"Oh yes it has been. I wonder why you're now working at my father's school? Could it be the stories of your parents disowning you were actually true?" The lady, Jang-mi raised a brow with a sly smirk on her lips.
"Please kids, Miss Seo-yeon would see you all when she arrives to start teaching. Please take your leave." Ye-eun lead all the students away and they all followed obediently. None of them would want to be on Jang-mi's bad side that afternoon.
"And I see you've been doing good since we departed isn't it?" Seo-yeon folded her arms across her chest with a slight frown on her face.
"Yes I have been. In fact as you know, I'm doing really good. Unless you don't read the news, you should have known I'm now the queen of Majestic empire." Jang-mi boasted and Seo-yeon scoffed.
"I see. I don't have anything to do with you so why should I know that you're the queen of a music industry. I didn't even know you debuted." Seo-yeon smirked. "I guess Majestic isn't so great after all for having you of all people to be their queen."
"Haha. It's only hurting you because you couldn't pursue your career despite all that was spent on you by your unwilling father and mother." Jang-mi gave a devish chuckle. "I don't see you returning to the music industry anytime soon am I right? I wonder if you would still be able to sing a note. Dear Seo-yeon, even if you're considering coming back, I'll advise you not to because you've spent seven years of your life out of the business, doing what only you knows about."
"Why thank you for your useful advise Jang-mi. I'm sure it would be of good use." Seo-yeon smiled before turning to leave.
"I am being serious Seo-yeon. Even Stellar industry is trying all their possible best to remain at the top. Your so called friend…. Oh isn't this nice. I just remembered, didn't your sweetheart Do-yun get married to Eun-ji few months back? I'm pretty sure you've been with him all those years right?" Jang-mi threw her head back in a mocking laughter. "I wonder when he started loving her uhn…." Jang-mi walked towards Seo-yeon who had stopped in her tracks. "I wonder if he loved her right from when you guys were in highschool and only played you and made you look like a fool after over over ten years of you two being together. I really pitied you when I heard the news."
"Why thank you for your concern Jang-mi. I'm doing really good even without him in my life. If you're worried about me coming for you, forget about it because I don't have interest in silly competitions. All I have to do is focus on myself….."
"Or focus on building a good life for yourself through my father. Oh silly. I'm not scared of you because after all you and your so called lover did to all your friends, I don't see how you would be a star anymore. You've shut your friends out, insulted them on the same issues of this so called man. You should be ashamed of yourself Seo-yeon. After all the warning, all the warnings from your mother especially." Jang-mi shoved her hands in the pocket of her cardigan. "Let me give you a better advise Seo-yeon since you don't have a promising life here anymore. Leave the city, relocate to a better place and start a new life. You can become Miss Diva of the city and no one would mind that but this place Seo-yeon, this is my turf and no one would take it from me. No one not even you."
Seo-yeon looked at the lady who was busy running her mouth before her with a sly smirk on her lips. She held her head up and gave a gentle sigh.
"I understand all you've said Jang-mi. I love all your friendly advise which I know you're giving just to favour yourself dear old friend. Of course I might have not sang for years, but that doesn't say I still don't have my talent. Infact I'm sure you and Eun-ji herself are scared of my return which you think can't be possible. But I might as well warn you beforehand, be prepared for my return."
