Before Becca arrived first, Tommy quickened his pace. He had to be at the mansion before her and he managed to do that.
Not immediately getting out of the car that he had exchanged for his own, Tommy waited in the car until Becca appeared. Despite the drama, Becca had to see how frustrated and messy he would be without her.
He sat quietly, sometimes mixed with anxiety. He tapped his fingers on the steering wheel and looked left and right, which was dark and lonely. Then before long, a light entered the courtyard of the mansion, stopping behind his car.
Tommy saw Becca get out of Adam's car and that's when he got out too. He and Becca stared at each other as Adam's car drove by.
Becca lowered her head and stepped inside without greeting Tommy. Tommy followed her until suddenly Becca turned around, startling Tommy.
"Did you just come home?" Becca asked.
"Not. I've been before."
"Why did you just come in with me?"
