Chapitre 248: Top-up promotion
He snapped his fingers to indicate that she's right, "Exactly."
"Come on Seb, don't tell me that meal doesn't suck you up. Like seriously, even I am getting fed up of it." She rolled her eyes. Ever since she introduced ramen into the kitchen, Petra and Sebastian never stops bugging her to make it continuously.
They would rather eat ramen everyday than have a normal westerner breakfast. To the extent of a mother and son fighting over the last medium pack and Petra was the one who finally got hold of it. She ate the whole of it stingily without sparing a fork for her son.
"Hon, but that's what I really want right now." When she slightly slapped her forehead and groaned, he held her hand and kissed it. "Please..."
"Okay fine I'll do it but it's gonna be for dinner." Stabbing the steak with her fork, she declined the incoming call before it rang in two.
Seeing her declining a particular call for several times now, Sebastian curiously inquired, "Who is it?"
Nodding her head, she sighed, "It's Kang-dae."
"Oh wow, has he returned from Seoul?"
"Yeah." Scrolling her phone, she switched it off and shove it into her purse, "As you know, he'll be turned fourteen by next month and his school just gave him a double top up promotion. He'll be writing his last highschool examination soon."
Raising his eyebrows, he smiled, "Wow, I love smart kids like him. His knowledge took him this far and soon he'll be going for college."
"Kid?" She chuckled. "Seb, you're still referring him to the same statue when you last saw him, right? But I'll shock you. Now that he is the leading role of an upcoming movie and he seek for an accommodation at your place and I declined it, you'll bet had been shock to see how brawly and tall he has become."
Scrunching his brows, he inquest, "Why did you declined him from coming to our place?"
"Seb–"
"He is part of this family. You shouldn't treat him like a stranger. My home is his too and he is always welcome whenever he feels like coming over. I won't accept that attitude of you denying him from staying with us, Jin." He seriously stated.
Biting her lower lip, she gulped down. Oh shit, why didn't she say yes to Kang-dae in the first place than explaining everything to Sebastian. Damn she just ruined one part of his mood today.
"Listen," He held her hand in his and slowly massage the back of it, "Your family is my family and my responsibility too. In spite of the conflict going on between us I still have faith that it'll all be in the past some day. So don't make him feel rejected." He calmly explained.
"But I thought that you'll get upset if I let him in without your consent."
"Con–" He laughed. "Oh come on honey. Why would I be? Huh? As far as it's you, your family and everything that has to do with you, there's no permission needed, okay?"
She smiled and nodded her head. This was another reason why she loved him. Couple of her love stories always had this storyline of gentleness and tenderness. The love and affection he has shower her should be enough to fill an ocean.
One thing about him, he doesn't say things without practical. He fulfills whatever he says and he always stood by his words. But in every step he takes, he consults her first. Because her opinion matters a lot to him. And now that she has heard from the horses mouth, she'll invite her sibling over.
"Seb, can I ask you something?"
"Of course."
"We got married last night, right? So...why did you do it unknowing to me?"
Playing with her fingers, he kissed every tip of it, "My love, I wanted to surprise you, was that wrong?"
"No." She smiled and slowly turned her head away. Mouthing words silently, 'What kinda surprise was that? It was blurry but I can still remember that he gave me some papers and I did signed them up.'
"Yes you did." His sudden remark made her widen her eyes in shock. Does he now read people's mind? Oh wow, what a therapist.
"Actually, I thought of so many things and came up with a perfect plan." Clearing his throat, he continued, "You're pregnant with my babies. It'll be a whole lot of stress for you and I when our babies are born. In terms of wedding arrangements."
"Precisely honey, I thought of that too and decide to keep it until the babies are born and few months older."
"That will take a lot of time, my love. I did it on purpose so we can live our lives together as husband and wife." He sighed. "I don't want our babies to be born out of wedlock."
Nodding her head in agreement, she sighed, "Me too." Caressing the back of his hand, she shook her head helplessly, "I've thought of same thing but you and I have been through a lot lately."
