Before we enter the local branch of Save-Masters, Leigh and I first touch the rock that is located in the establishment's front parking lot.
Aurora asks us, "Is this a good luck ritual or something?"
We heartily respond, "Yes. Every time we visit the store, we both expect to score something worthy, as long as we touch this lucky rock first."
And no sooner does she follow our lead and touch the rock as well.
"There! This time, it'll be three times the good luck!"
"Atta girl!"
We then give her a wholesome pat on the head, which makes her blush heavily, like a ripe tomato.
Once we three are inside the thrift shop, we notice that the layout has changed.
When we last visited the shop, racks of used clothing used to greet us.
But then, the management most likely decided that this wasn't a good way to attract visitors, so they brought used electronics and physical media to the forefront instead.
This way, customers would get first dibs on what they really want.
