Grinning smugly, Blair went on to say, "Like I can't think about anything other than how bad I want your body against mine."

"Really?" Cadmus breathed, smirking.

He pressed his forehead against hers, staring deep into her eyes. His breath was starting to come in short, quiet pants, his burning gaze flicking from her eyes to her kissable lips.

"You're serious? You really mean it?" he asked a bit desperately. "Please, don't tell me you're just messing around, Blair."

She peered at his mouth, unconsciously running her tongue over her lips. Their faces were so close now, and yet, his lip was still not pressed against her own.

It was a crime, really. They should fix that.

"Why don't you kiss me and find out yourself?" she coaxed, barely able to recognize her own voice from how grave it sounded, voice so unbelievably thick with desire.
