Chapitre 85: ABBOT’S PROMISE

It did not take long before Brother Philemon with a swollen cheek returned with Abbot Jeromy behind. Yosef had taken a while minus seeing the Abbot.

The Abbot seemed to have developed more grey hair on his head, he was dressed in a long black robe that swept the floor in the hallway as he walked.

Yosef wished in his heart that this time around. The Abbot could give him a definitive answer on when he and the squad can receive the pilgrims' treasure and the Holy Relic. He was bored and tired of just sitting in Jerusalem, waiting for the delivery which was not coming.

"Knight Yosef and Commander Gallo, greetings to you all." Abbot greeted them when they drew close to each other outside his office. From his tone, they could tell he was not very to receive them this abruptly. 

"Hello Abbot, it is nice to finally meet you. You are a hard person to get." Yosef greeted him back.
