This was Captain Raldrik, known for his ruthlessness and fierce loyalty to the Dark Serpent Pirates. The other, in more practical leather armor with short, golden hair, was Captain Joren, a fiery and headstrong rival.

Captain Raldrik's voice carried a dangerous edge as he accused Joren, "I know you took it, Joren. A crate of my finest rum disappeared from my ship. You have something to do with it."

Joren's face contorted in anger. "I've told you, Raldrik. I had nothing to do with your missing rum. I've got my own business to attend to."

Raldrik scoffed, not buying Joren's protestations. "Old man!" he called out, summoning a weathered pirate who stood nearby. "Tell Captain Joren here what you saw last night."
