Chapitre 10: A body built for battle

"So far my greatest and proudest work.... agh... I just finish it this morning as well but this baby is a combination of multiple power-enhancing crests, alongside the special crest that cost me over 300,000 shards to create."
I said as I pull out a mechanical heart, that was beating slowly, it was made out of nothing but gears made from various monster bones, and Mythril-coated armor to protect the necessary parts on the inside.
"Hahaha... it's a beauty, a work of art, truly an exquisite piece, who knows making dolls could be this fun, well I did collect figurines, so this is an exceptional hobby."
Yes, the object that I have in my hand, can be the most hack object I have created thus far, it has but two functions, one that is up to the user's desire, and two an ability that has but one purpose, and function if used correctly, Orion potential for battle could be unrivaled.
The name of this beautiful masterpiece is called, the Asura Core, it can steal the physical stats of the enemy he has killed, as his body will be constructed to have limitless potential, I want Orion to be a literal powerhouse, the definition of a shield, so for every time an enemy fall to his hand he will receive the physical power of them, meaning speed, strength, and of course, defense, and the only reason this was possible to create was that I spend a total of 300,000 shards to purchase a crest called Peak awakening.
And with this crest, it gives me the ability to empower someone or something already existing ability to the absolute peak that it would reach in its lifetime, the only thing is about this power is the fact I can only use it two times a year, and I cannot directly use it on myself, I was lucky by adding these conditions to get the power for a smaller amount of 300,000 shards when in reality, it should be way more hahaha... I still have one more use for it though.
But apart from that, I use one of my rights to max out a weaker crest called stats steal, which gives you a 3% chance to steal a random amount of the enemy physical stats, for every attack you hit them with, of course, I also made the stat steal crest has a growth potential buff on it when finishing, it only cost me about 60,000 shards.
So right after I upgrade the weaker stats steal crest to make it reach its peak, it gave birth to the Asura crest, which I applied to this core hence the reason I name it the Asura core.
The entire process was expensive and time-consuming but in the end, I got myself a marvelous creation and a piece of art.
Meanwhile, the second function that relies heavily on the user's desires is something like Carmilla's circumstances if she realized the hidden power that lies within her, of course, like what Lacia stated, I am a being that focuses heavily on the concepts of sins and desires, so anything that partakes of my blood will awaken an ability according to their desires, and of course, depending on how much I give them will determine how powerful their desired abilities is.
"I do wonder though, what was Carmilla's ability hmmm.... as the first progenitor of the vampire race, it should be something strong enough to help her out in her journey, I wonder what she is doing right now, hmmm... probably doing some vampire stuff."
But apart from that, unlike her who absorbs multiple pints of my blood, I gave Orion a single pint of it, as that act as an eternal fuel for this baby, I hope that he will unlock an ability that will be useful to me nonetheless.
"Well, then I have the Asura core, along with the additional limbs, all that is left is to remodel his body to make the limb attachment possible, ahahahaha... I can't wait to see the fruits of my hard work come to life and give me a glorious payoff."
"Anyways let's begin the procedure."
With those words said and done, I began rebuilding Orion's entire body and seeing that a lot of prior damage was done to him, I need to replace a lot of different organs with artificial ones, while I subtract the ones that aren't needed anymore.

The sounds of multiple things could be heard, coming from all over, and the figure that was wrapped up in his bed began to move and fidget in the bed where he rested.
Multiple annoying sounds continue to go off in the figure's head, to the point where it arises from its bed and shouts in annoyance.
"My God what's with all the noise!?"
"Ha, the basement room?"

"Agh, why am I hearing all these annoying sounds."
But as I was thinking this I grabbed my head due to my normal reflexes, but as I did this, I remember that I had no limbs and that was when I also realized, that I was put to sleep to take a body modification surgery.
And when I look at myself and saw my hands, I was shocked, really shocked, just by looking at it, I could instantly tell it was an artificial limb, one that resembles those fancy dolls the nobles buy for a hobby or for their young ones, but when I touch it, I feel the sensation of my arm, it was like having a better pair of arms that were human-like.
But that wasn't the only shock because instead of two arms, I had eight in total, four pairs of really strong arms, but I also felt my vision enhanced in some kind of way.
The room was dark, and the loud rain outside, including the other noises that were annoying the hell out of me, seem way more clear and my sight well the only description I could say to describe this feeling was like saying I have additional range, it was like seeing two different things at the same time, including enhanced hearing and smell as well.
I could smell various things as well, but I wonder how my legs look, so with that thought I raised my blanket using one of my new arms, and when I look, a pair of rather muscular artificial legs that were doll-like was before me, it had a weird black tattoo that was going up my body.
(A/N): Imagine Sukuna tattoos.
So with that said, I tried to walk, but as soon my feet touch the ground, a sudden feeling rush up my entire body, and a range of information started to flood my brain.
"Is this, the entire map of what's happening around me within 20 meters radius."
But as I said that I notice the chickens outside were fighting, as soon as anything moved I notice what there are doing, despite me being in the bed just waking from my surgery.
"No way, am I feeling the vibration of the world around me?"
"Then isn't this like seeing with your feet, oh my God, am I even human anymore?"
But as I said this, I got the shock and the fright of my life, as the voice from the corner of the room rang out, as he said.
"It seems you like the new body?"
I gaze towards the familiar voice and there he was, the master who made this new body possible, but what took me by shock was the fact that he wasn't there a couple of seconds ago, and suddenly appear in the room, I couldn't even sense him with my new ability, no I could see everything else except him, it was as if he was blank out from my sight completely.
But I cannot let this distract me as I replied.
"Agh... yeah I was a little shocked seeing that I have so many limbs.... it reminds me of the multiple arms people, a clan of powerful warriors who strive for nothing but battle."
"Ohhh... I see... well you are designed in the image of my favorite anime villain character, although more limbs and abilities were added."
"Anime character what's an anime?"
"Oh don't worry about it, but apart from that why don't you see how you look like for yourself."
Mr.Subaru said to me as he pointed toward a full body mirror that was by the window, so without delay, I got up, and it surprisingly felt natural, despite it being artificial, so with that said I fold all of my arms as I walk to the full body mirror.
And when I reach I was left speechless, so much so, that I could only ask.
"Who is this?"
Mr. Subaru responded as such.
"That's you kid."
"Me how I don't even look like the same person."
"Well, your body was modified by yours truly."
"I see, of course, I should expect this much from someone who knows how to form a contract."
"It's nothing much, but your new body was built for war."
"For war?"
"Yes, the design and patients put into it, created a body that was built for constant war, and long-lasting battles, you're a living weapon."
"I see."
I stated as I look directly into the mirror once more, I was a taller version of myself, I was 5'7 in height, my hair was now blood red, and my skin was a light tan color, on my body were black tattoos, my fat body was now muscular, and I still had a childish appearance, well that is if you look past the angry smile and the extra pair of red eyes below my original eyes, that were full red and had a black draconic slit at the pupil.
I had eight arms, and pointy teeth, each of my fingers had black claws, and to finish things off I had slightly pointy ears as well.
"Can I even call myself human at this point?"
"Human, no, no you're more of a corpse doll than anything else."
"A corpse doll?"
"Yes, an overpowered corpse doll."
"I see, a small price to pay for vengeance, well anyways what now...father."
"Father?"
"Yes, you say that I would be your adopted son, after forming the pact with you."
"Yeah, that's right... well then Orion we have a lot to do, for starter we need to get you a proper build, and some decent gear, although you need to learn to be independent don't always dependent on me, so tomorrow you're going to go into the forest and kill the strongest monster you can find, as a reward I will dismantle the part and schedule an appointment to get you a weapon from the very forest beast you kill."
"A reward?"
"Yes if you can make me proud by doing this I will teach you a lot of other things as well."
"Like what?"
"Anime, and games."

"Hmmm...well I finish your surgery about three hours ago, so you are still recovering, why don't we rest for tonight, as matter of fact why don't I show you what an anime is."
"Really, well...agh what is an anime father, can you give me an example?"
"Yes, it's a form of play."

"It's a classic im sure you will love it, one of my favorite shows by far, it's called Jujutsu Kaisen."
