Frozen for Centuries

Grayson and Zane were in the former Queen's study discussing when to hold the next meeting of all eight realms to finalize new leadership roles and discuss vampiric culture moving forward. Each realm was currently in a period of transition in which leaders were being nominated and chosen. Grayson had proposed some changes to the way things were done that were also going to be voted on once everyone gathered again. 

"They seem to be accepting the idea of change well," Zane said, leaning back in the chair across the desk from Grayson. 

"I imagine with how authoritative our leadership has always been, many of them have wanted change for centuries. This is finally the chance to embrace something different that allows more change to come." He set down the correspondence they had received that day. "There will be some who try to fight it, though." 

"Do you expect significant resistance?"
