"What do you need to ask me?" Theo asked, shutting the door behind himself softly while Cora walked to the kitchen island and perched there. "Are you hungry?" He asked hopefully.
She still hadn't been eating well, and that was yet another thing that was threatening to drive him mad. His mother had often joked about how satisfying it was just to see someone you love eat, and he never understood that until now. If Cora would just sit down and eat a good meal, then that would help his anxiety considerably.
She nodded her head. "Yes, I am hungry."
He almost asked her whether she meant that she was hungry for food or for something else, but he didn't want to risk ruining this fantastic mood she was in. He hadn't seen her like this… ever. And if all she wanted to do was eat some food, then that was a win. He would take it.
