Chapitre 119: Weak

"Goddess, you're awake," Penelope gasped when Cora's eyes finally opened, squinting against the light of her new room that was so bright compared to what she was used to. 

"Huh?" Cora rubbed her eyes and sat up. She couldn't remember what happened or where she even was for a moment. This bedroom was unfamiliar. "Is it morning?" 

"No. You don't remember passing out after Dr. Wright took your blood?" Penelope asked, rubbing her daughter's back. "Zane and I were told we could come see the new area, and when we got up here, you were asleep in your bed."

"Ugh, that's right," Cora nodded. "He took so much." 

"Do you want one of these? Do you still feel faint?" Penelope grabbed a plate of cookies from beside the bed and offered them to her. 

The clang of metal from elsewhere in the room caught Cora's attention, and she gasped, jumping out of bed when she realized that the lycan was here. He was in that stupid cage they had installed.
