Chapitre 111: Bad Dog

"That sounds better," Theo nodded in approval at the rhythm that her heart had found, and then he placed his hand over hers that was still against his chest. 

They stood there, gazing at each other with their hands over each others hearts to initially make sure that hers would continue. And it did. It beat as it always had before she collapsed out amongst the black blooms of ancient otherworldly flowers.

"Are you okay now?" He asked softly, his eyes dipping to take in the pink undertones of her cheeks and then her lips that had just been against his skin moments ago.
