Chapitre 100: Refusal

Theo was pacing in the tower room next to Cora's, cursing. This was ridiculous. He was in another cage. He had another barrier keeping him from his mate. And her heart hadn't been beating for hours. She hadn't awakened as a vampire either. 

Didn't Grayson say it would only take minutes for her to awake as one of them? What if they were wrong? What if she was not becoming a vampire at all? What if he had lost her?

He groaned and pulled at his hair. He was very close to the edge of sanity. If it weren't for the fact that he could still feel her there in the deep well of his being—still spinning with him on just the other side of their bond—he would definitely lose it.
