Chapitre 145: Fortifying Sorus

The third phase of operation Holy Trinity was concluded with minimal casualties. All three zones were cleared of enemy forces. Sorus was now firmly under human control. Surprisingly enough, the machines hadn't mounted a counter-offensive to retake the district.

The ultralink walls were holding up nicely against the minigun fire from the enemy forces. Their bullets couldn't even scratch the surface of the reinforced titanium structure. Even the Neutralizer cannons failed to cause any significant damage to it.

Grenades kept raining down on the walls at regular intervals. The blasts could be heard from many miles away, but the fighters knew they were safe behind the walls. Not even the Devastators could scale such high walls. 

A few Revenants charged at the wall to try and slice through the metal with their sharpened blades, but the electric shield around the border sent them flying back, dealing enough shock damage to fry their internal circuits.
