Elayne was being completely merciless, the amount of anger she felt for having been betrayed by the trio was immense, even more when knowing they intended to not only kill Mercedes, but her daughter Brisingra, the girl that her father let her take care of! The anger and frustration she felt for almost having let the girl die was immense.

Elbedo kept trying to fight, but he was incapable to defend against Elayne's endless flurry of attacks. Her giant shield was crushing all his body against the wall, making it unable for him to move properly. His claws were slashing her body as he could, but she was regenerating endlessly with her wooden and plant-based body. And his flames were of no use either, an armor of divine light reflecting it.
