"Izzy," I scrambled forward to stop her from tumbling down the flight of stairs, "why did you learn to run before you can walk?" Exhausted, I aggrievededly whinged into thin air as I cradled her to my chest in an attempt to soothe my erratic heart with her scent.
A feminine chuckle reminded me I wasn't alone.
"I remember when my Johnny was that little, always keeping me on my toes."
Looking up, I caught the bittersweet smile on the woman opposite. A pretty little thing, that was roughly ten years older than Hannah and one of Alex's employees.
Her blue eyes fogged over as she momentarily lost herself in memory.
Like the many women under this roof, she had a sad tale to tell. Her entire family was gone right at the start, by sheer luck she'd aimlessly found herself living this far. Her soul always felt more lost than the dead that lingered.

Slight spoiler and some System lore here whilst I explain the reasoning:
The reason I wrote this way, was I felt this set of actions and words was more showing the true personality I feel 3ML really has and hinting at their history.
However, it is still coercive/dub consent. So try and keep that in mind.
Her heart isn't in it and he knows it, but he wants to break down her walls and force his way there the only way he knows how.
Sex for immortals is just as powerful as exchanging blood or saliva. It allows the System's to connect and bond and exchange power. But both parties need to consent for that to happen, so for this scene, it's just sex between two human bodies, nothing more. Even if 3ML wishes it to be.
What his motives are for wanting her to trust him and love him, you'll have to read on to know ;)
Currently, the only two souls Luna has let into her System this way are Lex before her memories and Master when he was Jianyu and she Zhiyue just before she died.
