"You steal my words and start the party without me, what do we make out of this now..."
The terrifying amounts of mana and the chill in the air all vanished like it was nothing but a bad dream, the demon incarnate that was terrorizing the allies and enemies alike was nowhere to be found, all that stood there was a handsome man smiling brightly as his eyes were warmly looking at the beautiful yet heroic figure leaning on the cave wall.
"How have you been?" Aster asked in a voice that was shocking for all who heard him, their eyes were wide open as the single thought in their heads was, "is this demon/ice block we know? did someone replace him or something?"
Yami who was standing behind Aster pointed his broken blade at Aster and asked with a menacing look, "who are you, and what did you do to the ice-brat?"
Nobody spoke, but one look could convince anyone that the rest of them were having similar thoughts on this, but only Yami was blunt enough to voice it out like this...
Aster had nothing else on his mind anymore, all his attention was on the heroic beauty that was walking toward him with a smile so minute that no one could discern unless they paid attention to it, "dull and boring are two words, while dull, boring and tedious are three words, do you want me to continue?" she asked with a little smirk.
"Let's spar after we finish dealing with this rag-tag bunch." Aster chuckled and turned toward the lineup of the Eye of Midnight Sun that was no longer there, only a ball of thistle rolled down with the dusty breeze.
"Oh well, tough luck I guess." Aster shrugged and placed his hand on the ground and a beautiful blue light flickered from it and all the rocky debris that was lying around in the cave dissolved into the ground and the cave visibly returned back to how it looked before they walked in, perfectly fine, without a single scratch.
This scene reminded the Magic Knight Captains that the boy standing before them was someone they tried to dismiss as a weak little newbie, that he was perfectly capable to carry on with his threats had they chosen to disagree with him.
"I am going on a little vacation, break this crystal if you land yourselves in problems you can't solve. If not, let's meet at the festival, but if you call me for something useless, I will freeze the Kingdom into a popsicle." Aster smiled like the most harmless creature ever before vanishing with Madoka.
----------------
Asta and the rest were dumbfounded at the sight of something like this but none of them could believe this happening.
The mission ended without a hitch and a few weeks passed, the bulls finished the sea temple without a hitch if you could ignore Asta's temporarily botched-up arms. Aster expected that Yami would call him in, but that did not happen at all.
Maybe Yami wanted to deal with Vetto with his own hands, or it might be the fact that the idea of calling him with the crystal was totally forgotten by the bloke.
The team returned from the mission and set off on the quest to fix Asta's arms, and Vanessa found herself in the Witch's Forest, back into the clutches of her mother. The mother and daughter reunion did not go as planned and the daughter ended up being ground under her mother's heel.

Somewhere in the Clover Kingdom:
"You sure you don't want to step in?" asked the lazing Madoka.
"I might not, but I don't think you are doing a good job hiding that raging bloodlust." snickered the apron-wearing man who was having fun baking desserts.
"So~ what's it gonna be?" she asked in a soft voice akin to a whisper.
"I'm sure that the folks from Diamond would be interested in a dance." Aster smiled.
------------
"Let me ask this once, for the record, you won't turn back and leave, right?" Fanzell asked the invading army of Diamond Mages.
"I'm not sure we should offer that option anymore... Since they are here, let them stay here forever." Madoka grinned maniacally.
"Take a break old man, let us take care of this bunch." Aster chuckled.
Fire Magic: Majestic Destroyer Flame!
A huge torrent of flames washed over the army rushing in, effectively eliminating the cannon-fodders and then she rushed in... a beautiful dance of her heroic figure wielding a scythe, with each swing she would reap heads or limbs of her foes, the vanquished lay beneath her feet as blood dripped from the tip of her scythe.
The army of hundreds lay dead or writhing in agonizing despair under her gallant figure. Fanzell looked at the scene like a three-year-old who was introduced to anime.
"She is beautiful, isn't she?" Aster asked with a dazed voice, like a drunk man drowning in his fantasies.
And Fanzell for a lack of better words was gobsmacked, but sighed and smiled, 'young love, huh?'
"So only the two of you remain? Come, entertain me some more... I don't want this dance to end so soon..." Madoka smiled as she addressed the remaining two from the Diamond.
