Chapitre 34: Tryst

The ball was going on in full swing, Alistair and Olivia were on the dance floor, dancing. Theodore was sad and desperately wanted to go home so he could cry into his pillow. Elena and Fife refused to let him feel sorry for himself though.

"You shouldn't be pining over that idiot", Elena scoffed.

"hey that idiot happens to be my friend", Fife spoke in defense of Alistair.

"well, your friend is stupid",

"he isn't",

"if he isn't stupid, then why is he over there dancing with her instead of talking to Theodore here",

"I don't know but I think he is going through something and we should give him time",

"I don't care about what he is going through", she stretched her hand out to Theodore, "come on let's dance",

"are you sure that's a good idea?", Theodore looked at his limp leg. She nodded and helped him up. They went on the dance floor and started to dance slowly.
