"Why are you all smiles?" Deb asked Jack as she walked into her husband's study and met him grinning from ear to ear sitting behind his desk.

"I have some good news," Jack said, still smiling.

"Please do share. I could use some good news." Deb pulled out a chair from across his desk and sat down.

"I just got a call from Jason, he has accepted the offer to become a part of the company," Jack said with excitement.

"Wow, that is great. This means Mason didn't get to him after all," Deb said smiling, excited by the news as well.

"No, he didn't. Now I can set my plans into motion," Jack said laughing.

"This calls for a celebration. When is he starting?"

"He seems quite eager to start, I'm surprised by the sudden change of heart."

"I think he might have had a falling out with Mason," Deb said.
