Trevor had his mouth agape as he stared at Maddie after she had finished telling him all that her mother told him.
"Are you sure about this?" Trevor asked Maddie still finding it hard to believe all Maddie just said. He couldn't seem to process any of it.
"My mother wouldn't make up a thing like that, she has no reason to," Maddie said with a sigh.
She felt bad for not keeping to the promise she made to her mother about not telling anyone. But she couldn't keep such a thing to herself. Mason and his brother need to know. They deserve to know the truth.
Trevor got off the bed and started pacing the bedroom. "This is... Whew... I'm speechless."
"What are we going to do?" Maddie who was sitting on the bed watching Trevor pace asked.
"We will have to tell Mason and his brother about this," Trevor replied.
"I think so too."
"Deb, a murderer? I can't believe this! She seems too good to do such a thing, I can't believe it."
