Chapitre 159: Birthday Present

Mason was still sound asleep when Ava back into their bedroom carrying a freshly baked cake. She placed the cake on their nightstand as she stood looking at her husband.

She is happy with how well he has sleeping these days. His insomnia seems to have reduced as he barely stayed awake all night like he used to.

It was still quite early in the morning and She didn't want to wake him up just yet as he looked so peaceful in his sleep. More like a baby.

It's his birthday and Ava had woken up quite early enough to bake a cake for him, the first one she baked had been a disaster she timed the oven wrongly and the cake got burnt, so and had to discard it, and made another one which turned out even worse, and the third one she baked turned out better. It was Mason's first birthday since they got married and she wanted to do something special for him.
