Chapitre 100: I'm Sorry

Mason woke up from his nap and saw Ava getting dressed. 

"Are you going out?" Mason asked now sitting up on the bed.

"Yeah, I'm going to see Layla," Ava replied as she styled her hair.

Mason got up from the bed and came to stand behind her. "Isn't she the one you both went together to the party last night?" 

"Yeah, she had a lot to drink last night, I want to confirm that she is fine "

Mason wrapped his arms around her middle, "must you go over to her place? Can't you just give her a call?" He was now nuzzling her neck.

"I want us to spend time together," he murmured against her skin.

"I know, and I'm sorry, but I really have to go see her. I promise I not to take long."

"Hmm," Mason groaned. "Are you taking your car?" 

"No, I'm still not confident enough to drive around on my own. I will take a taxi."

Mason kissed her neck and then started to put on his clothes.
