Chapitre 62: How Could It Be?

Later that same evening Ava was in her bedroom dressed for bed when she heard a knock on her bedroom door. She knew it was Mason because she had heard him when he came in from work. She got up from her bed and went to the door and stood there for a moment as she thought of what she was going to tell Mason when he asked her for her response on what he had suggested last night.

After Maddie had advised her to be true to her feelings, she had decided to go with Mason's suggestion for them to give the marriage a trial instead of getting a divorce. But she wasn't sure if she was making the right decision. She wasn't sure she was ready to be committed to a marriage. But then again, since she already found herself in a marriage, she might as well go with the flow.

"Ava?" Mason knocked on her bedroom door again. He knew she was still awake because the lights in her bedroom were still on and he could see her shadow as she stood by the door.
