Chapitre 54: One Day At A Time

After Mason had left, Ava did the dishes, and then she called Maddie to let her know that they were back.

"Are you at the airport now?" Maddie asked her.

"No, I'm at Mason's place. I will be staying here for a while."

"Okay….," Maddie had a lot of questions to ask, but that was all she said. She sensed now wasn't the best time for that, and it was better she didn't do it over the phone.

"Are you busy?" Ava asked.

"No, I just got off my shift, I'm about to start heading home," Maddie replied.

"Do you think you can help me get some of my things and bring them to Mason's place? I can't come to the house because the paparazzi are out there, I can't risk getting seen."

"Sure. Text me the things that you need me to bring, and also, Mason's address."

"Thanks, Maddie."

When they were done talking, Ava texted Maddie the things she needed her to bring for her and then Mason's address.
