"I guess we really did get married last night," Mason muttered as they both stared at the marriage certificate in shock.

The more they both stared at the marriage certificate, the more reality dawned on them. They truly did get married.

Ava's heart was beating so fast that it felt like it was going to jump out of her chest. She was married! What has she gotten herself into? How could she allow herself to be controlled by alcohol and ended up making a decision as life-changing as this?

She looked at Mason and his jaw was clenched. Was that anger she saw in his eyes? Why should he be angry? How could he be angry? He has no right to be angry, after all, he was the one who suggested this in the first place.
