Claire felt like her insides were burning. It has been a long time since she had last had sex.

In their clan, a Queen was allowed to have only one King Consort but she could keep as many men as she wanted. 

But after meeting Maven, somehow she could not imagine herself with anyone else other than him. It just felt so out of place.
