Chapitre 6: Chapter 5 Surgical mask II
Evie arrived at Dr Kendall's office and as expected the receptionist had already booked an appointment for her.
"Good morning" Evie waved him
"Good morning,please sit" he pointed at an empty chair Infront of him and she sat. "What may I do you for?" he asked
"I want a surgical mask, is there any available "Evie went straight to the point
"But why would an extremely beautiful girl like yourself want a mask?" he asked
"That part doesn't concern you " she wore her cold expression again
"Alright I'll give you one, follow me"Dr Kendall said, they went into a room with glass walls, she could see a lot of masks in it, the place was extremely cold.
"Why is it so cold?" Evie asked
"To keep the mask fresh" he replied.
They went through few masks and Evie finally made her choice, the face of the mask was not even nearly as beautiful as she was but it was pretty though
"That will cost you 300,000$" Dr Kendall said sharply
"300,000?" Evie asked
" If you can't pay then you can always not buy it" the sides of his lips curved up, he was certain she couldn't afford it
"I'll take it " she said sharply, her lips curved up. She always liked people who underestimated her cause she loves the look on their faces when she beats their fucked up expectation
The doctor had a look of surprise on his face, she quickly sent the money to the hospital's account and after all other verification, she got the new mask fixed on her face, giving her a different appearance than what she really looked like. She left the hospital and went back to the cab.
In a small apartment, Betty Salsedo was making breakfast, she made bacon and fried eggs. She heard the 'ding' sound from the door bell and quickly ran to get the door.
Betty was very pretty, she had red hair which was coiled, black eyes and cherry lips. She rushed to the door already knowing who it was. She opened it and saw Evie standing there,she couldn't recognize her because of the mask she wore but her guts told her it was Evie parker
