Chapitre 173: What Changed?

Alex silently peered at Sophia in silent anticipation of what they were to talk about. 

There was no doubt this was about Vanessa. The crease lines that always folded her brows, and the stoic countenance she wears when her sister was involved was on full display, and he was fully convinced. 

For reasons unknown to him, there was always this anxiety within him whenever he was about to have one these conversations with Sophia. And right now there was an even more pressing need to prove himself and assure her that there were only good intentions in regards to his feelings for Vanessa. 

"What are you doing, Alex?" She asked in a tone that commanded his utmost attention. "What are you doing with my sister?" She asked in an even more sterner tone, her eyes pointedly meeting his and with unwavering intensity.
