Chapitre 26: Failure Of An Elder Brother

From the sweet adoring tone, Lee Yong was sure the woman was the 'third master's lover' and 'her brother' also knew his brother. Yong realised they were all quite close. Close enough to create chaos as they please.

"Ah… little Choi is back! I will have my lawyers also on standby. They will be at little Choi's disposal anytime." Lee In-Su tried to appease the third master, but he was genuinely happy to know little Choi was back.

Lee In-Su knew most of his son's friends, and he adores quite a few for their bond. One such friend of his son was Choi Haneul, and over the years, while watching Haneul grow up, he treated the other as family. Even address the boy as little Choi like everyone close to Choi Haneul.

"No need. I can take care of my brothers - Lee Whan and Little Choi. Why don't you ensure your wife realises she has two sons, not one? If she hates Lee Whan, she can just wash her hand off him. My parents love him as their son anyway! We will be his family on record as well. He can simply live the life he wants as long as he lives with us. We will make sure he is happy. You know that is better and makes all of us happy, right?" The third master did not hold back and clearly said the Lee family could not keep their son happy.

"Yoon Gi! I will make sure my wife understands. You do not have to think about the unnecessary extreme means. This is my family matter." Lee In-Su dropped the honorifics and spoke to the third master as an elder.

He had seen the third master - Yoon Gi, grow from a messy kid to a dignified gentleman. But he was not going to put up with disrespecting his friend's son, who tells him how to take care of his family. He still believed he was capable of handling family affairs.

"You have been saying that for years, 'uncle Lee!' But this time, you are not getting Lee Whan back even if you kneel in front of my family and beg! Trust me on that! My mom was furious after she found out Lee Whan cried. My dad is upset with how you are treating your second son. If you want, I can make this an issue between your generations, and I will stop meddling. We all know how my parents would settle it." The third master threw in a polite threat.

He was the softest and most reasonable person in the family after his father. His mother would throw a knife before questioning, and his elder brother would bankrupt the entire Lee family before questioning. As for his little brother, the fourth master would kill the Lee family off and save time from questioning them.

"I am sorry. I still don't know what happened? I will find out and apologise to…" Lee In-Su tried to do some damage control, knowing his best friend and best friend's wife were not easy to deal with when it came to concerns of Lee Whan. And if their other two sons interfere, this affair will not end well for the Lee family.

Lee Yong had already found out that his mother having trouble with his brother was not new, but he did not know that he had taken refuge at someone else place way too many times.

He had no idea that those people not only took care of him but were willing to make his little brother their family.

The more he knew, the more he realised he was a failure of an elder brother.
