Chapitre 153: Chapter 152- The biggest lie

Earl returned home with a gloomy expression. He was surprised when he noticed Amber in the kitchen, the housekeeper standing beside her with a pale face. It was the first time he had noticed her cooking in their two years of marriage.

He became still, watching her in astonishment. 'Is she planning to poison me?' 

"Oh, you are home." Amber approached him with a grin. "I know what you are thinking."

Earl blanched, wondering if she had actually heard what he had just murmured in his head. "Wait, what was I thinking?"

"Aren't you surprised?" She pouted.

He nodded. "I am, indeed."

She grinned coquettishly, which made him flustered. "I have learned a new recipe. I hope you will like it."

Earl glanced at the housekeeper, who had turned mute already, and looked back at Amber. "Don't experiment with anything in the kitchen. You will burn or cut your fingers. Let the housekeeper do his job."

He walked up to his room.
