"Are the barriers down?" Rania asked Han and her brother who both nodded eagerly, while Kai was watching with an amused yet proud face. 

He knew that his woman was finally letting herself face her truth and right now, he could feel the urge that was coming from Rania. It was an intense animalistic urge, one that made him want to rush to her and kiss the living daylights out of her. 

It was the urge to make them know that they belonged together, even though it wasn't the kindest of urges. Kaia could smell Rania's desire to spill blood and goodness that was turning him on, even though they were yet to consummate their bond.
