Chapitre 163: To obey

Nick closed his eyes as he tried to make himself as inconspicuous as possible, as he hid in the office but he knew that there was no way out of this, not anymore. He has threatened Charity by calling the police and of course, that traitor has twittered it all to Vanessa like a damn canary and he caused himself to get caught in an even bigger mess by not trusting Vanessa when she said that she knew what she was doing, now he was in a mess that even he couldn't fathom how to get out. 

He jumped to his feet when he heard the sound of a door opening from behind and all of his nervousness floated past his heart straight to his chest. Because of the mess that he has made, his nerves have been a frayed mess and as he turned around to look at Vanessa his heart couldn't help but thump like crazy. 

However the second he turned to look at her, his throat clogged up and he was knocked to a stop the second his gaze fell on her figure.
