Chapitre 225: In Heat?

Matthew jolted up. Beads of sweat trickled down his forehead. Getting up, he immediately doused his face with cold water in his bathroom. Then he stared at his reflection.

Something was not right.

His heart thudded loudly against his chest, his senses alert.

This wasn't the first time that he woke up in the middle of the night with only Ava inside his head.

What could have happened?

He frowned and used a towel to wipe his face. Then he walked out of the bathroom and poured himself a glass of whiskey.

He missed her.

After a while, he dialed Baba's number and asked her to come to his room.

Luckily, he was able to contact her this time. Baba would usually turn off her phone especially if she was not in the castle.

"What is it?" Baba was wearing her long black robe. She looked like she hadn't had any sleep for a few days now. "I assume you are calling me for something important?"

"Where is she?"

"Pardon?"
