Matthew's Mansion

The sound of someone's grunting echoed inside the large space.

THUD

"Get up," Matthew said. "Is that all you've got?"

THUD

"I SAID GET UP!"

"Tsk…" Matthew spat then kicked the bloodied man again. "Weren't you trained by the best? You were claiming to be the best fighters for your king and here you are… fucking useless."

Matthew looked around at other people on the ground. He stood there, shirtless and bloodied. But the blood wasn't his.

Meanwhile, the people around him were bleeding, some of them had even fainted. 

But none of them were dead.

Good.

Lycans healed fast— too fast.

In some conditions, that was considered a gift, an advantage.

But in front of Matthew, that gift was a curse.

Healing too fast meant that they could fight again after a few hours or days.

And so the cycle continued.
