Chapitre 61: A trip home

I got dressed in one of the new clothes Sly bought for me. Although I would have loved to wear the shorts I have, I can't do that.

My Stepmother hates it when I wear shorts. So, it's good I don't get on her bad side today. I love my life so much to endure a minute of scolding from the green tea witch.

"Are you ready?"

"Yeah," I put my phone in my front pocket before I strolled out of the room, to meet Marli.

"You look good." She touched the loose polo I'm putting on, "I'm rooting for this."

"I would have given it to you. But you know I can't."

This is a gift from my husband, I just can't go along giving it to anyone who takes a liking to it.

"I'm not asking you to give it to me." She smiled, "I'm only complimenting you."

Together, we walked downstairs, "where is Sly?" I look around the empty place, searching for my husband.

"He asked you to meet him outside." Marli smiled, "Good luck dear, you will need it."
