By the time Joyce returned with a jacket and comfortable shoes, she found him waiting exactly where he had told her he would be. He was near the entrance with his car already started for him.

"Here," he handed her the flowers after giving her a once over before going over and opening the passenger door for her. It looks like he was driving today.

Every time she would be in the close quarters of the car with him, she would feel different. She would feel more of him.
