"A-are you kidding, sir? Many other candidates are waiting outside, you haven't even called them yet!" Marion protested at the man who was now officially being her boss. The man didn't answer but locked the girl's hazel bead intensely.
Marion was not afraid to look back at the sharp eyes of the man in front of her. There was something strange lurking in her chest cavity, unfortunately, she couldn't explain what kind of feeling it was.
She didn't remember anything that happened that night, only that it was William who had collided with her. And even received a gift of vomit in her stomach at that time. So, what do they do after that?
Marion closed her eyes, her head was spinning trying to remember what had happened at that time. If only she had the device to turn back time, maybe she would go back to yesterday and prevent that from happening.
However, who can turn back time? Let's just say fate is trying to joke, by bringing her and William once again.
Struggling with inner turmoil, Marion didn't care what was happening to the man in front of her. He was looking at Marion with a gaze fixed on one point. MARION. It was as if there was an urge that William couldn't describe when he saw and was near the girl. He didn't know what, but the feeling really bothered him.
However, he couldn't possibly tell Marion that he was the one who spent the night and fondled the girl in front of him, that night. He just didn't think he'd be reunited with this girl again.
"You want to argue with me? The decision is entirely in my hands. If I have made a choice, then no one can stand in the way or stop me. Is that clear enough for you, Miss Alsen?" said William, which Marion heard sounded harsh and haughty.
Seeing the arrogant attitude shown by William towards her, Marion really regretted her decision to attend a job call full of nonsense like this. If in the end, this man chose her without any selection, why did he deliberately summon other women and employees to attend as well? Wouldn't that be a waste of time?
"But . . . you're wasting someone else's time, Mr. Reynz," said Marion, while William didn't listen to what the girl was saying. Instead, he returned busy with a pile of files in front of him.
"Are you done and have you understood what I said, Miss Alsen? If so, you can go out, and meet one of my employees who is waiting for you. She will show you everything," William said without lifting his face and continued to scrape the ink on the pile of paper on his desk.
Marion scowled. "You arrogant bastard!" she hissed in a whisper, which she was sure the man wouldn't hear. However, after Marion left the room, William couldn't stop thinking about Marion Alsen, the girl who had made him drunk even without alcohol that night. And now, fate seemed to bring them together without him needing to search.

Marion stomped out of the room of the arrogant man who had now officially become her boss, not by the will of the two of them but dominated by William's own decision. The man says if he has decided then nothing can change him.
Then that was what Marion had to accept.
One of the employees in sexy clothes came up to her. What's with these women? Why do they wear clothes that even look lacking in material or seem too small? Did William 'use' them all to satisfy his lust?
Marion shuddered to herself as the image flashed mischievously in her mind. Moreover, the moment that appeared was the image of herself having to satisfy William's desire.
"No!"
"Miss Alsen, are you all right?" asked the clerk, hearing Marion's shriek which made even the other women who were still waiting there turn to look at her.
"Uhm ... s-sorry, I just—what was your name?"
"I'm Leah Carlton, Miss. Come with me, I'll show you what Mr. Reynz has prepared for you." The woman motioned for Marion to follow the direction she was pointing.
"W-wait! Then what about those ladies? Are they also going through the selection to become Mr. Reynz's assistants?" asked Marion, looking to answer her curiosity.
Leah shook her head. "They'll be asked to go home later, Miss. There's no need to worry about them. Since Mr. Reynz has already found what he was looking for, it looks like there won't be any more assistant searches."
"W-what do you mean?" Marion asked, confused by what Leah had just said.
"We'll talk as we go, Miss. Come on, this way." Leah stepped parallel to Marion's steps, of course, Marion preferred to follow the woman's steps, because she had absolutely no idea where they were going.
"Mr. Reynz has already chosen, so that's the last one. Please come in, Miss."
Leah opened the glass door and ushered Marion into the room with her name on the outside. It's not too far from William's room. Far impressed, because both William's room and Marion's room were unusually sized.
Too big and majestic to be called a workspace. It's more like an apartment.
"This is your room, Miss. And this is the connecting door leading to Mr. Reynz's room." Not only that, the beautiful woman with copper-coloured hair with red lipstick continued the explanation, she then opened the connecting door which was also made of glass and revealed William who was still busy with his work.
When she was done, Leah walked in the opposite direction of the connecting door and opened another door. A sliding door in which there is a wardrobe with women's clothes, shoes and various accessories which is when looked at it carefully, are all sized and matched to Marion's taste and preferences.
"Unbelievable! What's all this for, Miss Carlton?"
"Just call me Leah, Miss. These are all for you, Miss Alsen. Everything has been tailored to your taste and your preference."
Marion shook her head quickly. "Is this the former property of the woman who was once master Reynz's assistant?"
Leah pursed her lips, and then took out a few pieces of clothing, jewellery and shoes, all of which still hung the price tag and brand on them.
"These are all brand new, and indeed prepared for you, Miss. These were specially purchased by Mr. Reynz himself. If there is anything else you wish you could tell me."
"Uhm ... Leah, please don't be so formal with me, just call me Marion, and talk casually. We're on the same level, aren't we?"
Leah flashed a gentle smile, then looked down before finally explaining again.
"We are not in the same position, Miss. You are Mr. Reynz's personal assistant, have the privileges that Mr. Reynz himself has assigned since you were elected, while I ...." Leah didn't continue her sentence, but smiled again.
"What are you? Don't tell me that you ...."
"Yes, Miss. I am an employee appointed by Mr. Reynz and have the honor of serving you. I am your personal assistant."
Marion shook his head in disbelief. "What the hell!?"
