Chapitre 175: Meeting an old friend

Just as Bai Liyue had expected, her mother's face changed several emotions. It went from shock to confusion, to disbelief, and then straight to anger. Mei Lin's nostrils flared as she stared at her eldest daughter. She couldn't believe that this entire time, her daughter was joking with her. 

How dare she???

Is this matter something that someone can normally joke about?

She almost had a mini-heart attack thinking that her eldest daughter was in love with that crazy man. Thankfully, it was true. Yet, it couldn't vanquish the anger that was trying to erupt on the inside of her. She took a deep breath and sent a hostile glare to her daughter. "Chen Ziyue, day by day, you are just getting worse," she hissed lightly. "Where are the manner that I and your father have thought you?"

"Forget them," she laughed, sticking her tongue out and pointing towards her head. 

Mei Lin's anger spiked. "You!!!"
