Chapitre 66: The Log Cabin

Arabella's POV

"Wow, this place is fantastic, Elaine!" Lera exclaimed when she parked on the driveway of Elaine's log cabin. It was a beautiful wooden house with an extensive lawn surrounded by ornamental plants and flowers. I was mesmerized by the beauty of nature before me, and it took my breath away.

We climbed out of the car and got our things, and as we got inside the house, I was in awe; it looked so modern on the inside with its expensive types of furniture and fixtures.

"Wow!" I mumbled.

"My children love the serenity at this place during their younger years just like me when I was a teenager, but the only difference, they had forgotten we have a paradise here while I always longed to come and spend my vacation here, to have a break away from the hustle and bustle of the big city." Elaine declared as I watched the oil painting at the center of the living room.
