It had been just over 45 minutes since Arvell and Lillianna had fallen through the crack in the ground. 

'It's been almost an hour, yet the teachers still haven't come,' Arvell frowned, 'the longer we take in here, the more dangerous it is.'

They had found a stair-like structure of rocks that they could use to climb up to a higher floor.

However, running at high speeds was taxing for their Aether and Mana reserves, but the sound also attracted nearby beasts, forcing them to waste more precious resources to defeat them.

For that reason, they slowed down their pace and began to walk normally, primarily to avoid giving any nearby beasts an indication that they were there.

As they were making their way there, Lykos materialized next to Arvell.

'I don't think you should keep going that way.'

Arvell stopped walking and looked at Lykos with a look of confusion.

'Is there something I should be wary of?'
