"I still say it would be better for you to come clean first instead of waiting for it to happen," Darius said with a shrug. "It worked for me."

"You weren't actively lying and you didn't ruin your girlfriend's life," Hunter pointed out. 

"Hey, YOU didn't ruin Gwen's life. Victoria did." 

"Do you really think she'll see it that way? Because I don't. Like it or not, I was involved and I approached her with less than noble intentions. If I were her, I would never forgive me. I have to come up with some sort of valid reason for her to not break up with me over this and I'm drawing a blank."

"Because you love her?" Darius suggested. 

Hunter sighed heavily. "I really don't think that will be enough. I love her; she doesn't love me."

"Has she ever specifically said that?"

"No but she's not crazy like we are. Besides, I don't even think she knows what love is. This is her first relationship and it's only been a few months."
