Jocelyn's eyes narrowed, her gaze shifting between the two of them. "It's unlike you both to react this way just because I want to join you. Why are you acting so strange? Did something happen?"
Before Joanna could answer, Rachel walked in, her face etched with concern. "What's going on this time? It's obvious you two are hiding something…"
Joanna quickly stepped forward, her tone calm but firm. "We are not hiding anything, Rach. Believe me, everything is under control."
Jocelyn wasn't convinced. "You said it's under control, but you didn't say nothing happened. That tells me something is wrong."
Joanna sighed, struggling to maintain her composure under Jocelyn's scrutinizing gaze. Audrey stepped in, trying to deflect the growing tension.
"Celyn, Anna's not lying," Audrey said, her voice steady. "We really just wanted to go for a walk. You are being overly sensitive."
