They wondered if they should trust Kayra's words about the vampire king being a good man. 

"You two… don't want to?!" Kayra asked in a disappointed expression.

The men nodded vigorously. Kayra smiled and led the way through the forest, however the men's eyes were busy scanning the surroundings for any signs of danger. 

After a few minutes of walking, they arrived at a small clearing, where Kayra set the mat and started the fire, ready to extract details in the façade of the picnic and her tasty food.
