"So you already knew?" Keith asked in surprise. "You are the orphan child the guidance counselor confided this information to?"

"I am. And under his instructions, I took care of the 'clients' he listed. I work hard for a year to gather evidence. I gave them to the police, but what did they do? They threw it all away. Hehehehehe...." Lexi laughed creepily. 

"The law enforcer should not be a law breaker. If those people in power are breaking the laws of the world... what will happen to us?" 

Lucien caught something between her words, and a suspicion appeared in his mind. 

"I heard a rumor that the police force was depleted because of the terrorist attacks in the main city. But one of the police officers had a slip of his tongue and said that another police died at the hands of drugs. Don't tell me... it was you're doing?"
