Chapitre 51: The Fourth Test

On the next day, the testing grounds were filled with the vampire children again for the next test.

However, unlike before… Many kids were still dejected after yesterday's incident.

Knowing that they were overwhelmed by their morality, causing them to fail their test… had left a bad taste in their mouths.

As a matter of fact…

Not a single one of them was here to play around like some nobleman's child trying to mix with commoners for fun. 

They were here to survive and bring enough provisions offered as rewards so their families could survive within the stronghold where thousands of people were starving for weeks.

Even if they were vampires, their thirst and hunger were the same for them just like the humans.

All the vampire children had willingly chosen this path of blood and shadow.
