Samira could tell what type of questions they were going to ask her. She stood in front of grandmother who was going to question her. 

"Why didn't you tell us from the beginning that it's Mohni's plan?" She asked in a tone the that sent cold shivers down her spine.

Samira swallowed hard. Her hands were trembling. Karan was going to be angry if he finds out she played this game with Mohni. They will end up driving her out of the mansion. She might never see Aanya again.

"Grandmother is talking to you. Answer her, please" Priyanka's voice jolted her. Samira looked up and saw her standing next to Karan. Her blood boiled when she saw the smile on her face. Priyanka was enjoying every bit of it now.

"I-i was afraid," Samira finally found her voice. She wasn't sure if they were going to believe it. They have to...she needed to make them believe her.

"I don't understand. What were you afraid of?" Grandmother narrowed her eyes at her.
